About the Lyrical Strings Duo
Lucia has appeared in both the United States and Europe as a soloist and chamber musician. Now based in Portland, she is the Concertmaster of the Willamette Falls Symphony, and first violinist in many other regional orchestras and chamber groups. Stephen is a conservatory-trained guitarist who specializes in chamber music. He has been arranging music for classical guitar and for small ensembles for over a decade, and has recently embarked on a project arranging romantic era works for guitar and violin.
First playing together as part of the Classical Revolution PDX chamber network, Lucia and Stephen formed the Lyrical Strings Duo nearly 2 years ago, and are working towards releasing their first album in Summer 2012.
